Colossians 3:18-21

The Christian Home

The Christian Home is to be a witness of the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world. There should be a stark difference between the Christian home and the homes of the non-believer in Christ. Francis Schaeffer points out in his book “True Spirituality,” “The fall alienated man not only from God, but also from himself and from other people.”

Today our society lives with an amorality or immorality because apart from God there can be no absolute moral standards. Today we are faced with relativism and situational ethics. To these philosophies God’s Law is too narrow and strict. We will see here the apostle Paul does not hold this corrupt philosophy. One of the purposes of God’s Law is to sustain society and restrain evil.
