Genesis 4:17-26

Civilization Without God

Introduction:

The wickedness of Society in our day brings us back to the history of Cain’s day and the prevailing wickedness before the days of Noah until ultimately the judgment of God came by the immense flood that covered the earth. Matt. 24:37 “For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah.”

As we examine our own Nation and it’s departure from Christianity and righteousness. It appears on the surface that the wickedness of men and their policies are gaining progress with their agendas. But the Psalmist awakens us that the Lord God has the last word and action. Where they set a pit for the righteous to fall into but in reality they themselves end up falling into the pit they dug of us. Psalm 57:6
